NO Good

Nothing but over priced at this place. Stayed one night and left, Advertised entertainment did not show and was over charged for the room.

Fun, Fun, Fun!!!!

The nice thing about Flamingo Resort is that its got everything from a hotel, to a restaurant, indor and outside bars, stores, a radio station, great drag shows, Dj's playing cool tunes in the courtyard, huge swimming pool, weekend events, and a relaxing fun atmosphere. The perfect getaway :)

Ugh

Lost our credit card for 3 hours, kept our drivers license and did not contact our room about it. Phone did not work and did not resolve it for the whole weekend!

The Flamingo is finally big time.

As a long time Suncoast patron I was usually disapointed at the small ceowd here compared to Georgie's Alibi. The atmosphere is upscale. By and large the staff is superlative. Yes the TV's are still tubes but aren't you really there to look at the boys. They have really made the effort to upgrade the entertainment. After a cold winter this has finally paid off. Was there as a local over Memorial day weekend (after spending a glorious after noon at nearby gay Sunset Beach) and what a crowd. OMG so much eyecandy. When my BF had a tizzy and went to the powder I got hit upon by a really muscled wine importer with the most sensual accent I ever heard from Portugal. While I am totally faithful, it still made my day. While we were dressed to move onto the white party at Honey Pot in Tampa, we never made it cause the Flamingo was too much fun.
