Laid-back without the cliques
If you hate the cliques and shallow, catty, small-minded twinky boys that gravitate around planet Georgie's, this is the place to go. Very cool, low-key environment, that allows you to smoke indoors(!), which is virtually unheard of any more. They have reasonable prices on their drinks, which are fairly strong for the money. There's a dance bar, and a lounge area, with an outdoor patio area and every Saturday, they have Karaoke, which can be pretty amusing - especially after you've had a few.
Dive Bar that's NO FUN
I'm not sure what happened to this place.. but it's a ghost town. Seems the owners don't really want this to succeed I suppose. They do nothing except Karaoke (which used to be good). Just a small amount of people. Most drunk and the prices are a bit expensive. Detour used to be an amazing little club at one point and time. Hopefully, the current owners will sell it and someone who sees what a goldmine this place would be will buy and make it just that. SKIP IT
kinda depressing and lonely place
walking in to this bar makes me feel sad since there is hardly ever more than a handful of people scattered around and no dj, just 2 or 3 people who drank too much and wanted to sing karaoke, but couldn't. The decor reminds me of Moe's from the Simpsons, with about the same number of people inside

Detour is your "NO HATE Zone" for fun and friends for the gay community. The sport/pub style bar is open 2pm-2am 7 days a week with happy hour 1/2 off drinks open to close on Tuesday & from 2pm-9pm the rest of the week. Karaoke Sun, Mon, Wed, Thurs 9:30pm with KJ Aaron. Dance bar with 1100 square foot dance floor open 9pm-2am Thurs-Sat with DJ Shelby or DJ Ed always taking your requests. The huge patio out back is always open with plenty of seating and fenced in for privacy and safety. Your bartenders are always friendly and ready to make you your drink of choice with full liquor bars and beer on tap. $3 long island iced teas or $3 liquid courage & $5 Bomb shots everyday, all day! i would go with a group when i go here. but its a cool place.
