The gay section is the southern tip of Treasure Island. This location was originally the site of a gay bar called "Bedrocks" and is a popular beach for the community to hang out, even though the bar is long gone and it's not easy to get to this beach.

Nice beach to relax and enjoy the water

Nice beach with a variety of people. Parking is somewhat limited but automated pay system is nice.

Sunset Beach is back

Great sunsets and a wonderful relaxing feel. Sunset beach isn't as commercial as other beaches and they recently re nourished the beach making it much wider. It's where the boys are on Sundays!

Best days are Sundays during spring and fall. July and August are too hot so the locals tend to stay in the AC.
